Fashion forward collection exceeds expectations in first season.

Mouawad is proud to present the continuation of its collaboration with Andrea Lieberman, top stylist and design consultant to many A-list celebrities in the music and entertainment industries. This rich, organic collection of pieces inspired by Andrea's world travels and cultural consciousness is aimed at a new generation of collectors: those who are looking for jewelry that defines their spirit.

The highly personal collection is an homage to Andrea's extensive international travels and her love for the beauty of nature in its purest form.

"With this collection, I'm really speaking to customers who appreciate the 'soul' of adornment and who understand the greatness of both perfection and imperfection," Andrea explains. "Jewelry can become an armor for the wearer-it bridges culture, politics and religion-and it speaks to you and of you."

Using 22- and 18-karat gold and diamonds, each collection created by Andrea specifically for Mouawad builds on themes of nature, cultures, and spirituality. Diamonds, an intrinsic element of both her Tribal and Bamboo collections, are chosen for their rawness as well as literal and spiritual ties to the earth. Finishes also reflect the variety of nature in their uneven, rustic feel.

A devoted traveler, Andrea brings her sense of wanderlust to each piece. Each design embodies a gypsy spirit that captures an ideal of global awareness. "I hope to appeal to women that are looking to embrace natural elements in reaction to the overwhelming era of technology we live in," Andrea says. "My goal is to make pieces that become 'favorites' rather than 'classics'."

Pieces from both the Tribal and Bamboo lines have been seen on Gwen Stefani, Faith Hill, Angelina Jolie and Eve, among others. Look for a new Andrea Lieberman for Mouawad collection to debut in 2006.
