Winners receive diamond jewelry from Mouawad at the famed Moulin Rouge

Paris-Mouawad, international jeweler to the stars, once again bejeweled some of the world's most beautiful women when they sponsored FTV's Fashion Model Awards at the world famous Moulin Rouge cabaret on May 12, 2005.

Opened in 1889 and nicknamed "Les Premier Palais des Femmes" (The First Women Palace), the Moulin Rouge was the perfect setting for an evening celebrating 23 young women vying for the title.

Pascal Mouawad, U.S. Director of Mouawad, sat on the jury of the annual event and was on hand to present the winners with their jewelry prizes. "FTV is a great international channel that keeps everyone up-to-date with what's going on in the world of fashion," Mouawad said. "It was a pleasure to work alongside FTV to judge this year's Fashion Model Awards and to adorn the beautiful winners with diamond necklaces."

The 2005 winner of the FTV Model Awards received a diamond and 18-karat gold pendant from Mouawad's new Angel Wing collection valued at $8,000. The first and second runners up were also presented with Mouawad diamond Angel Wing pendants each valued at $3,000.
