Naomi Campbell opened the show last night wearing an amazing white JM gown and one of the rarest diamonds in the world- the 60.19-carat D flawless MOUAWAD MONDERA. Not unused to dripping in thousands worth of baubles one could tell that even Naomi seemed in awe- A CATWALK FIRST!! As they were trying it on the fear of wearing such a rare and valuable diamond was apparent as Naomi enquired about the insurance of such a rare stone. But being the super professional supermodel she is, Naomi positioned it perfectly and with one last pout in the mirror strutted out looking like a million dollars or should we say $12, million!!!

Bond Street jeweler and top British fashion designer and head of Givenchy, Julien McDonald teamed up to create one of the most glamorous fashion shows ever. And, with over ?20 million pounds worth of stunning diamond jewellery lighting up the stage - it certainly was the fashion week MUST.

Usually encased behind thick bulletproof glass, the ?12 million MOUAWAD MONDERA, pear-cut diamond was the shows star attraction. In addition to this very rare piece the guests were treated to a visual delight with Erin O Conner and Karen Elson strutting brightly colored summer frocks perfectly matched with sets of Vintage Diamond and Emerald creations, MOUAWAD 14 inch Rosette crosses and rare canary yellow Diamonds. Diamonds of every shape and size from square cut to pear shaped on necks, wrists, and ears and believe it or not there was even an ALL DIAMOND STEERING WHEEL on show!!!!!

Both Julien and Pascal regularly adorn the world's most famous woman, including Liz Hurley, Kate Winslet, Britney Spears and most recently Julien dressed Kylie Minogue for the MTV Awards in NYC, with MOUAWAD of course supplying her stunning diamond jewellery.
