Mouawad Presents $12.5 Million Victoria's Secret Heavenly Star Bra
Date: 19 Oct 2001
New York

Victoria's Secret's "Heavenly Star," the sixth in its Fantasy Bra line, is set to debut in the lingerie purveyor's latest "Christmas Dreams and Fantasies" catalog that will grace mailboxes starting next week.

Modeled by Heidi Klum, the bra was created by jeweler Mouawad, and features a 90-carat flawless diamond. The demi-cup brassiere is also adorned with 1,200 pink sapphires and more than 2,300 round and marquise diamonds. It can be yours for only $12.5 million. If you're partial to matching sets in your lingerie collection, you can pick up the complementary bejeweled panty for $750,000.

Though none of the previous five Fantasy Bras have actually been purchased, there's a first time for everything.

The Heavenly Star will be modeled live by Klum at the annual Victoria's Secret fashion show in Bryant Park on November 13. For the first time, a one-hour ABC special titled "The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show," will air Thursday, November 15 at 9pm.

Klum also wore the $10 million Millennium Bra in 1999, giving her the illustrious title of "Only Victoria's Secret Model to Wear a Fantasy Bra Twice."
